Y’see, Chad, the thing is that mandates serve as a motivator.
Really, most humans, at least in the Western world, can all be lumped into one group: “I know I have to do this, but I don’t feel like doing it right now.”
Whether they’ve got legitimate reasons for that or not are another topic for another time, but PARTICULARLY among younger people…
